A memorandum of understanding between EUI and Helwan University in the academic and research fields
Prof. Reem Bahgat, President of EUI, signed a joint memorandum of
understanding with Prof. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University.
Prof. Kandil, President of Helwan University, said that the Protocol included the
development of comprehensive cooperation in academic and research fields of
mutual interest. Academic staff members will exchange academic visits to
structure joint academic and research collaboration in all common fields of
interest. Both universities will also participate in organizing conferences,
symposiums, scientific panel discussions, and other areas proposed by either party.
During the signage, the President of Helwan University stressed the university's
desire to establish effective and productive partnerships with leading universities
within its vision for capacity building in all fields, to prepare competencies capable
of supporting the university. He presented Helwan University, its unique
specializations, and its distinctive programs, referring to its uniqueness in several
faculties in Egypt and the Arab region. It also includes technical faculties of a
specific nature.
For her part, Prof. Reem Bahgat, President of EUI, noted that the EUI is a non-
profit university specializing in the fields of Communications and Information
Technology and fields affected by it, founded by the Ministry of Communications
and Information Technology in the Knowledge City at the New Administrative
Capital, with significant support from the Ministry of Higher Education and
Scientific Research.
