Part-time Lecturer/ Expert in the Faculty of Digital Arts and Design (3D Animation)
The faculty of Digital Arts and Design t Egypt University of Informatics, located at the New Administrative Capital (NAC), is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy starting in the academic year 2023/2024.
Position Description:
The Faculty of Digital Arts and Design at EUI seeks applicants for a part-time position of Lecturer in Game Design Program – 3D Animation Specialist. The faculty invites candidates to become engaged in an interactive teaching environment. Candidates are expected to discuss in their lectures scientific concepts, applications, and problems and be able to challenge and motivate students.
Job Requirements:
- An expert in 3D animation with at least ten years of experience.
- Has an artistic contribution to several series, films, or advertisements implemented in a 3D animation.
- Teach lectures in their specialization, mainly using the English language.
- Employ innovative approaches to teaching and support for students using various learning resources and teaching practices.
- Interact with the students during face-to-face and online office hours, using discussion groups and other tools on the LMS.
- Perform any other administrative duties as assigned by the upper management.
- Submit end-of-semester reports with his/her achievements for evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate (Fine Arts, Film Institute) or equivalent in Filmmaking major.
- Can deal with university students with different ideas.
- Can adjust the course of teaching in the event of a need for such situations to reach the best possible result depending on the level of students.
- Can absorb all developments in his specialization with continuous research and innovation.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, is a must.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Good management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
- Team work spirit.
