Payable Accountant – FT - Accounting and Finance Department
The Accounting and Finance department at Egypt University of Informatics, located at the New Administrative Capital (NAC), is looking for qualified candidates to fill the Payable Accountant vacancy for full-time employment. Find below details of all requirements:
Job Requirements:
- Handle daily payable transactions and prepare accounting entries, and also receive and review the payable documents from EUI departments.
- Check for Tax invoicing gateمنظومة الفاتورة الاليكترونية to review, Approve or refuse and print invoices.
- Collect, review, and match the support documents received from EUI departments compared with Invoices received on the Taxes invoicing gate.
- Handle emails and calls from suppliers to ensure paying the financial duties within deadlines and agreed time with the coordination with the finance manager regarding the cash flow.
- Prepare the related journal entries, ensure that all entries are recorded, reconciled, and reviewed, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of all records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting Major.
- From 3 to 6 Years of experience in the accounts payable field, proven experience in higher education background is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Taxes (At least VAT, WHT, دمغة, and salaries tax)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping
- Excellent knowledge of accounting procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages and ERP systems. (Odoo is a plus)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills with clients are a must.
