Animation Arts Students Explore Creativity and Heritage at Prince Mohamed Ali Museum
Students from the Animation Arts program at the Faculty of Digital Arts and Design embarked on an educational visit to the Prince Mohamed Ali Museum in Manial, accompanied by Dr. Mostafa Elfaramawy, Program Director.
During the visit, students explored the museum’s remarkable architecture, intricate interior designs, and extensive collection of artifacts that reflect a unique blend of Islamic, Ottoman, and European artistic influences. The experience allowed them to observe historical patterns, decorative styles, and storytelling elements that can inspire and enrich their future animation and design projects.
Dr. Elfaramawy guided the students through key artistic features and highlighted how cultural heritage can be a powerful resource in modern creative industries. The visit aligns with the faculty’s commitment to integrating real-world exposure with academic learning, ensuring that students develop a deeper understanding of artistic traditions while nurturing their own creative identities.
This enriching experience reinforces EUI’s dedication to providing students with opportunities that bridge the past and the future—connecting Egypt’s cultural treasures with contemporary digital arts education.
