EUI Celebrates Top Achievers for Fall 2025
EUI honored 72 top-performing students from across its four faculties during its Outstanding Students Day celebration for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year (Fall 2025). The event was held at the university’s campus in Knowledge City, New Administrative Capital.
Prof. Ahmed Hamad, acting president of the university, emphasized that Outstanding Students Day has been a key pillar of the university’s approach since its establishment in 2021. This approach focuses on supporting high-achieving students across various fields and providing them with a stimulating educational environment that helps develop their capabilities and transform their excellence into entrepreneurial projects, preparing graduates who are able to compete in the job market.
Dr. Hamad also praised the efforts of faculty members and the advanced academic performance achieved by students across all faculties. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to fostering academic and research excellence, while also supporting students with entrepreneurial ideas and enabling them to continue their studies while developing their innovations.
The Acting President highlighted inspiring student examples, including two visually impaired students: Adel Ali Al-Saudi, who ranked first in the Faculty of Business Informatics (first year); and Madonna Malak Aziz, who ranked third, despite having recently joined the university after their USAID-funded scholarships were discontinued.
He further noted that the university welcomed 12 visually impaired and partially sighted students this year whose scholarships had been affected, providing them with full academic and technological support as part of its commitment to equal opportunities and accessible education for all.
