Teaching Assistants/Assistant Lecturers
Position Overview:
The Faculty of Engineering at EUI seeks applicants for full-time Teaching Assistant/Assistant Lecturer positions, starting in Spring Semester 2026, in the following fields:
- Computer Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
The Faculty invites candidates to engage in an interactive and collaborative teaching environment. Candidates are expected to discuss various ideas, applications, and problems, and to explain concepts covered in lectures. They are also expected to supervise and grade projects and assignments that students work on in labs and tutorials.

Job Requirements:
Conduct tutorials and labs as required by the course instructor.
Employ innovative approaches to teaching and provide student support through a wide range of learning resources and teaching practices.
Interact with students during face-to-face and online office hours, using discussion groups and other tools on the LMS.
Teach both practical and theoretical courses, in-class and online.
Grade assignments, quizzes, lab exams, and midterm exams as required by the instructor.
Participate in academic and examination support duties, including proctoring.
Perform any other duties as assigned by upper administration.
Submit a yearly progress report outlining achievements for evaluation.
Enrollment in a Master’s program (for fresh Teaching Assistants) or a Doctoral program (for Assistant Lecturers) is considered an asset.
Qualifications
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a related field with a GPA greater than 3.
Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
Practical and teaching experience (industrial experience is an asset).
Enthusiastic and interested in pursuing research and graduate studies.
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong computer skills.
Good management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong teamwork spirit.
