Prof. Hassan Qudrat-Ullah Engages EUIans on Egypt’s Future with the RISE Model

The Faculty of Business Informatics was pleased to host Prof. Hassan Qudrat-Ullah, Professor of Decision Sciences at the School of Administrative Studies, York University, for an insightful international ventures lecture titled “Developing Egypt with the RISE Model.”

During the lecture, Prof. Qudrat-Ullah introduced the RISE Model—Resilience, Innovation, Sustainability, and Equity—and discussed its role in advancing inclusive and sustainable development. He emphasized the importance of systems-based thinking and simulation in supporting evidence-based policymaking and strategic decision-making at the national level.

The session witnessed strong engagement from students and faculty members, who actively participated in discussions on how innovative decision science approaches can contribute to shaping Egypt’s future and addressing complex developmental challenges.
