Rally EUI Features Startup Pitches and Industry Insights
Egypt University of Informatics recently hosted the Rally EUI entrepreneurship event, bringing together students, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and startup ecosystem experts for a full day of inspiration, innovation, and entrepreneurial engagement.
The event commenced with an opening ceremony and interactive giveaways, creating an energetic atmosphere for attendees throughout the day. The program featured a series of speaker sessions that highlighted entrepreneurship, startup growth, venture capital, SME finance, and innovation within Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The sessions welcomed distinguished speakers and industry professionals, including Dr. Muhamed ElFaran, serial founder and board member at Creativa Innovation Hubs; representatives from Banque Misr; Amr El Abassy, General Manager of EdVentures; Dr. Amany Eissa, Cofounder of EUI; Nour Kassem, Founder of Zee Footwear; and Bishoy Michel, Founder of Scribe Me. Each speaker shared valuable insights and personal experiences that inspired students and aspiring entrepreneurs attending the event.
A major highlight of Rally EUI was the startup judging competition, where participating teams presented their innovative ideas and business pitches before a panel of judges. The event provided students with the opportunity to showcase their creativity, receive professional feedback, and engage directly with leaders from the startup and investment sectors.
Attendees also participated in knowledge competitions, entertainment activities, and giveaways during the judging break, while AIESEC New Capital introduced students to international volunteer opportunities and youth leadership experiences.
The event concluded with the winner announcements and closing ceremony, celebrating the outstanding teams and participants for their entrepreneurial spirit and innovative ideas. Rally EUI reflected the university’s continued commitment to empowering students through experiential learning, entrepreneurship, and meaningful connections with Egypt’s growing innovation ecosystem.
