Job Summary:
The Personnel Supervisor is responsible for supervising and administering all personnel operations for academic and administrative employees at Egypt University of Informatics (EUI). The role ensures compliance with Egyptian labor legislation, social insurance regulations, university policies, and higher education governance requirements. The incumbent oversees employee records, contracts, attendance, leave administration, government relations, payroll-related personnel transactions, and employee lifecycle processes while ensuring operational efficiency and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all personnel operations and employee records.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of employee files.
Oversee employment contracts, renewals, amendments, probation periods, and termination processes.
Maintain and update employee data within the HR Information System (HRIS).
Manage social insurance registration, updates, and employee deregistration processes.
Coordinate with labor offices, social insurance authorities, health insurance authorities, and tax authorities.
Ensure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance regulations.
Prepare and submit required governmental reports and documentation.
Supervise attendance monitoring, overtime calculations, and leave administration.
Review monthly payroll inputs and coordinate with Total rewards section for payroll accuracy.
Manage onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and employee documentation as well as relevant employment data update on the HRIS.
Ensure timely issuance of employment certificates, HR letters, and personnel-related documents.
Prepare personnel reports, HR metrics, and support HR audits.
Supervise Personnel Officer and provide coaching and guidance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Law, or a related field. MBA is an Asset.
HR Diploma, certifications are preferred (HRCI, SHRM, Personnel Management, Labor Law, or equivalent).
Experience and Technical skills:
Min 7–9 years of experience in Personnel Administration and Employee Relations.
Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance Law and regulations.
Familiarity with payroll processes and taxation requirements.
Experience with HRIS, ERP, and attendance systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
Strong reporting and data analysis capabilities.
