Zeina Amer & Ali Ihab Gold Winners, FISU University Championship

Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) is thrilled to announce that two of its students, Zeina Amer and Ali Ihab, both from the Faculty of Business Informatics, have won the gold medal in the Team Relay event of the Modern Pentathlon at the championship organized by FISU, the International University Sports Federation.

The FISU championships bring together top university athletes from around the world, making a gold medal at this level a truly exceptional achievement. Modern Pentathlon is one of the most demanding sports in the world, combining fencing, swimming, riding, and a combined running and shooting event. The Team Relay format adds another layer of challenge, requiring not only individual excellence but also coordination, trust, and teamwork between partners.

What makes this victory even more special is that both champions are proud EUIans. Having two students from the same university stand together on the top of the podium is a powerful statement of EUI's strength and growing presence in international sports competitions.

Their success reflects the discipline, determination, and countless hours of training they have dedicated to their sport, all while keeping up with the demands of their academic studies. It also shows what students can achieve when they have the support of a university that values both academic and athletic excellence.

Zeina and Ali have made the entire EUI community proud and set an inspiring example for fellow students who aspire to pursue their passions at the highest level.

Congratulations to our golden duo, Zeina Amer and Ali Ihab. Here's to even greater victories ahead!
