Accountabilities, Responsibilities, and Main Duties
• Develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance audience engagement and brand visibility.
• Create engaging social media content aligned with the university’s brand voice and target audience.
• Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, videos, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
• Manage and monitor all social media platforms.
• Regularly update social media accounts with relevant and engaging content, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
• Create media plans, generate ads, and deliver analytics reports on a regular basis for all social media activities.
• Support the growth and nurturing of EUI’s social media audiences while increasing engagement rates and meaningful interactions.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing, and identify opportunities to leverage emerging platforms and technologies.
• Implement social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, audience targeting, and performance tracking.
• Conduct research and gather insights on industry trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to inform social media strategies.
• Conduct surveys to assess students’ responses and behaviors to further improve social media strategies.
• Utilize Instagram Stories, Reels, and similar features on other platforms to create real-time, behind-the-scenes coverage of university events and activities.
• Monitor SEO and user engagement metrics and suggest content optimization strategies.
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to build and maintain a strong professional network.
• Create editorial calendars and content distribution schedules.
• Continuously improve performance by capturing and analyzing relevant social media data, metrics, insights, and best practices, and acting on the findings.
• Monitor social media conversations and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media marketing.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms.
• Good understanding of social media KPIs and performance metrics.
• Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Experience conducting audience and buyer persona research.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
