Job Purpose: 

 

The Organizational Development (OD) Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational structures, policies, job descriptions, workforce planning initiatives, performance management processes, and HR governance frameworks across Egypt University of Informatics (EUI). The role contributes to enhancing organizational effectiveness, operational efficiency, and alignment with EUI's strategic objectives while ensuring compliance with university regulations and best HR practices.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop and maintain organizational charts and structures.

  • Review and update organizational charts to reflect approved changes.

  • Ensure organizational structures align with EUI's strategic and operational objectives.

  • Conduct job analysis and prepare/update job descriptions for academic and administrative positions.

  • Support policy and procedure development and review.

  • Coordinate performance management cycles and reporting.

  • Ensure consistency in job grading, responsibilities, competencies, and reporting lines.

  • Assist in workforce planning and manpower budgeting and ensure they are aligned with Egyptian Labor Law, University regulations & HR practices.

  • Assist in recruitment and selection process.

  • Administer the training and learning process for administration and academic staff members.

  • Support the administration of the University's Performance Management System & annual performance appraisal cycles. 

  • Track completion rates and follow up with departments.

  • Analyze workforce metrics including: Headcount ,Turnover , Vacancy Rates, Organizational Efficiency Indicators & Performance Management Metrics

  • Support accreditation and quality assurance requirements related to HR governance.

  • Participate in HR transformation and continuous improvement projects.

 

Qualifications and Experience: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Management, or a related field. MBA is an Asset.

  • HR Diploma, certifications are preferred (HRCI, SHRM, or equivalent). 

  • 3–5 years of experience in Organizational Development, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Organizational Design, or related HR functions. 

  • Experience within higher education institutions is preferred. 

  • Experience using HRIS and reporting tools is an advantage.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Timely development and update of organizational structures, job descriptions, and role profiles.

  • Successful execution of the performance management cycle, including goal setting, appraisals, and completion rates.

  • Improvement in employee engagement scores and implementation of engagement and culture initiatives.

  • Development and maintenance of competency frameworks, career paths, and succession planning initiatives.

  • Delivery of organizational development projects, policy updates, process improvements, and accurate HR analytics/reporting.
