Business Informatics Reviews Connect with McGraw-Hill
A productive meeting was recently held between the Faculty of Business Informatics at Egypt University of Informatics and representatives from McGraw-Hill to review the use of the Connect platform and explore opportunities for enhanced academic collaboration in the upcoming semester.
The session served as an introductory and review meeting, building on the successful implementation of the McGraw-Hill Connect platform across several courses for first-, second-, and third-year students during the previous semester. Through the platform, students gained access to e-books, digital learning resources, assignments, and interactive course materials designed to enrich their learning experience and support academic success.
Discussions focused on evaluating the past semester’s experience, identifying best practices, and addressing challenges encountered by both faculty and students. The McGraw-Hill team conducted a walkthrough of platform features, responded to faculty inquiries, and explored ways to further optimize course delivery and student engagement through Connect and the McGraw-Hill Plus platform in the upcoming term.
Faculty members shared detailed feedback and suggestions for platform enhancements, which will be reviewed in coordination with McGraw-Hill’s technical team to ensure continuous improvement and a more seamless user experience. The meeting also emphasized strengthening ongoing academic support, with McGraw-Hill confirming weekly on-campus availability every Sunday to assist faculty and students throughout the semester.
A key point of discussion centered on accessibility and inclusivity, particularly in supporting visually impaired students. Both parties explored potential solutions to enhance platform accessibility and ensure that all students can fully benefit from digital learning resources.
The meeting reflects the Faculty of Business Informatics’ commitment to leveraging advanced educational technologies and global partnerships to deliver a dynamic, inclusive, and industry-aligned learning environment for its students.
