Outstanding Success for EUIans in the Egyptian Universities League

Students of Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) achieved remarkable success at the Egyptian Universities and Institutes League, organized by the Egyptian Federation for University Sports under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

EUI students secured multiple medals across several sports, reflecting the university’s strong commitment to supporting both academic and athletic excellence.

In fencing, Abdallah Yasser from the Faculty of Engineering, Marwan Amr from the Faculty of Digital Arts and Design, and Youssef Badr from the Faculty of Engineering earned third place in the team competition. Youssef Badr also achieved an outstanding individual result, winning first place in sabre.

In badminton, Reem Hussein Hamdy won second place in the women’s singles competition. In mixed doubles, Mostafa Ahmed Hamdy from the Faculty of Business Informatics and Reem Hussein Hamdy from the Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences secured second place. In women’s doubles, Reem Hussein Hamdy (Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences) and Mariam Khaled Abdel Aal (Faculty of Digital Arts and Design) won third place.

In tennis, Yassin Alaa and Mostafa Amr achieved third place in the men’s doubles competition.

Finally, in squash, Hanaa Alaa El-Din from the Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences claimed third place.

These achievements highlight the dedication and talent of EUI students and reaffirm the university’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded graduates who excel in both academic and extracurricular fields.
