Prof. Samaa Taher

Prof. Samaa has earned several research grants to pursue her passion in research; She is Fulbright Alumni, as she spent her post-doctoral at Columbia University in New York, USA. Further, she is the Associate Editor of the Journal of Strategic Marketing. She has been teaching since 1993 in different public and private universities inside and outside Egypt, including the UK and the United Arab Emirates. On top of that, Prof. Samaa Attia has added a new academic dimension by working as an academic, trainer, and consultant at many companies, which she has helped to successfully outperform their competitors. As she is a freelance marketing consultant and certified as an International Professional trainer from Missouri University, USA.
Professor Attia has also held senior roles in many universities public and private universities, inside Egypt and internationally; previously, Prof. Samaa Attia was the Head of Business Administration Department and the Vice – Dean of Post Graduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Commerce, Suez University. Prior to her appointment at Suez University, she used to work at the British University in Egypt for eight years. During which, she held different posts such as E-Learning Coordinator for the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science, Staff Development Coordinator, Teaching and Learning officer, and Library officer. Finally, before leaving, she was the director of the “Center of Innovation, Governance and Green Economy”.
She has published many articles in International Journals discussing many topics. and she is a reviewer for many international marketing journals and conferences. Dr. Samaa acts as an external examiner and supervisor to Masters and Ph.D. theses nationally and internationally. She also teaches several Marketing courses all aimed at promoting marketing among students and preparing them to be distinguished marketers themselves.
Ph.D. from Aston University, UK, and MBA from the Netherlands.
