Seif Hegazy Secures Top 3 at Capgemini Hackathon

Seif Hegazy, a Senior Artificial Intelligence student at the Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences, has achieved an outstanding milestone by securing Top 3 at the prestigious Capgemini Hackathon, held as part of the remarkable AI Everything MEA Egypt event.

Competing alongside a talented team of innovators, Seif demonstrated exceptional creativity and technical expertise, representing the spirit of innovation and purpose-driven technology that defines EUI students on major technology platforms.

During the hackathon, Seif and his team introduced "TuT," an AI-powered travel companion designed to transform how tourists experience Egypt. The solution combines smart itinerary planning and live event discovery with authentic local experiences through host family connections, offering travelers a deeper cultural connection. The platform also features innovative tools such as artifact scanning and real-time price checking, enabling visitors to explore Egypt with confidence, convenience, and enhanced cultural insight.
