EUI Celebrates success of "The First Step" Exhibition
The Faculty of Digital Arts and Design proudly hosted "The First Step" Exhibition, a landmark showcase celebrating the outstanding creative achievements of the faculty's first-year students in visual arts and digital design.
Held over two days, on 5 & 6 July 2026, at the prestigious Salah Taher Gallery inside the Cairo Opera House, the exhibition welcomed members of the public, art enthusiasts, students, and industry professionals alike, with gates opening daily at 12:00 pm.
The exhibition featured a diverse collection of student projects spanning illustration, digital design, visual storytelling, and experimental artwork — each piece reflecting the unique perspectives, technical growth, and imaginative vision of young creatives taking their very first steps into the world of professional art and design.
Visitors moved through the gallery exploring bold concepts and fresh ideas, engaging directly with the students behind the work and gaining insight into the creative process shaping the next generation of designers and artists. The event created a vibrant space for dialogue between emerging talent and the wider creative community, reinforcing EUI's commitment to nurturing artistic potential from the very beginning of students' academic journeys.
"The First Step" ultimately stood as more than an exhibition — it was a celebration of curiosity, courage, and creativity, marking the beginning of what promises to be a bright future for EUI's students. The event reaffirmed the Faculty of Digital Arts and Design's ongoing dedication to providing platforms where young artists can showcase their work, build confidence, and connect with a broader audience.
The Faculty extended its gratitude to all visitors, faculty members, and supporters who joined in celebrating this milestone, and looks forward to continuing to spotlight student talent through future exhibitions and creative initiatives
